All incoming Isola 370HR laminates and prepregs undergo strict IQC verification to ensure full compliance with specifications. Qualified materials are stored in temperature and humidity controlled environments and properly baked before production to eliminate moisture-related lamination risks.

Challenge: Isola 370HR may not always be readily available, which can affect production schedules and material lead times.

Challenge: 370HR can absorb moisture when exposed to ambient humidity for extended periods. Excess moisture can cause delamination, blistering, or other reliability issues during high-temperature processing.
Our Solution: Our prepreg inventory is kept in temperaturehumidity controlled storage with strict handling protocols. Cold materials are fully stabilized before opening to avoid condensation risks.

Challenge: 370HR has a higher Tg and a more thermally stable resin system than standard FR-4. Incorrect drilling conditions can cause resin debris, poor hole-wall quality, or damage around inner-layer connections.
Our Solution: We adjust drilling parameters based on hole size, board thickness, and layer count. Proper desmear and hole-wall inspection are also used to prepare reliable surfaces for copper plating.

Challenge: The higher modulus of 370HR can increase the risk of edge crazing or fractures during routing, scoring, and secondary drilling.
Our Solution: We adjust routing and scoring conditions according to the board construction. Our engineers review the DFM and stackup and mechanical design to help reduce stress and prevent edge damage during fabrication.
