A ventilator is a medical device that helps patients who cannot breathe on their own. It delivers controlled air and oxygen while removing carbon dioxide from the lungs.
Ventilator PCB assemblies control and monitor key functions. These include airflow, pressure, oxygen levels, motor control, alarms, displays, and power management. Different ventilator subsystems can have different PCB requirements. Ventilator PCBs may require high-Tg materials, HDI, high-frequency circuits, and fine-pitch SMT assembly based on the system design.
MedPCB manufactures and assembles medical-grade ventilator PCBs. We provide PCB fabrication, precision SMT assembly, component sourcing, inspection, traceability, and functional testing for prototype, low-volume, and high-volume production.

Ventilator electronics combine power, motor control, sensors, alarms, and communication circuits. The PCB needs reliable isolation, proper creepage and clearance, and stable multilayer construction.
What MedPCB provides:
MedPCB manufactures high-Tg multilayer PCBs with controlled stackups and suitable insulation structures. We provide ISO 13485 PCB and PCBA manufacturing with electrical and visual inspection.

Ventilator PCBAs may contain pressure, airflow, oxygen, and temperature sensor interfaces together with small passive components and fine-pitch ICs. Dense layouts and small packages increase solder paste printing, placement, and reflow requirements.
What MedPCB provides:
MedPCB supports miniature and fine-pitch SMT assembly with controlled solder paste printing, precision placement, and project-specific reflow profiles. Component orientation, polarity, footprints, and assembly requirements are reviewed during DFM/DFA before production.

Blowers, compressors, valves, and power circuits can create high current and heat. The PCB must handle these loads while maintaining reliable connections and thermal performance.
What MedPCB provides:
MedPCB offers heavy-copper and high-Tg PCB fabrication, thermal-via structures, and multilayer designs for power and control circuits. We also support mixed-technology PCBA for different component types.

Ventilator PCBAs require consistent production quality, genuine components, and controlled inspection and testing. Traceability is also important for medical device manufacturing.
What MedPCB provides:
Ventilator PCBAs can require controlled BOM revisions, qualified sourcing, and documented production records. MedPCB sources components through qualified channels and maintains available lot, production, inspection, and test records according to project requirements.

PCB Inspection & Electrical Testing
We inspect each ventilator PCB during fabrication. AOI, dimensional inspection, and electrical testing check critical board features. We verify materials, dimensions, and fabrication details against the approved specifications.
PCBA Process Inspection
We monitor component placement and solder quality throughout assembly. 3D SPI checks solder paste before placement. AOI checks component position, polarity, and visible solder defects. 3D X-ray checks hidden solder joints on BGAs, QFNs, and other fine-pitch components.
Functional Testing & Traceability
Every ventilator PCBA undergoes functional testing to verify performance against approved and requested testing requirements. Comprehensive production and inspection records can also be maintained for full component and process traceability.
